So, while Emmy was away at Camp Cabin, I was busy re-doing her room and setting up her big girl bed. Giving her a big girl bed was definitely a bitter sweet decision for Jeremiah and I. We knew she’d love having one, but we weren’t sure if we were ready to take that step. I feel like it’s one of the last milestones before she is completely a little girl, rather than a baby…and I’m just not sure if I’m ready for her to not be a baby anymore. But being that we knew she’d be thrilled, we decided to go for it and give her that darn big girl bed. So, I made her a comforter and some new decorations for her bedroom, as well as bought a few things. As you can see, I’m really into floral prints mixed with black and white stripe prints. I also can’t get enough of the sheepskin rugs! Max has a sheepskin rug and pillow in his room, as well. And as for the comforter, gold banner, dreamcatcher and bookshelves, I made all of those and so if you’d like instructions on how I did it, please contact me and I’d be happy to tell you. Next time, I will include instructions/pictures into the blog…I just thought of it too late this time around.
