Trying out the backpack

As you saw in the previous post, Max was looking pretty sharp today with his new scarf purchase.  And I, also, was pretty fond of a couple purchases I made today and yesterday.
Yesterday, I bought this necklace and I love the colors, as well as the fact that it’s a bit different than the normal chunky beaded necklaces that are so popular these days. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I have a handful of them and I love how they can dress up any ol’ top, but it was nice to change it up a bit with this necklace.
And then today, I bought myself a backpack. I’m so excited about this purchase because this backpack is taking the place of my baby bag! I’m already quite tired of lugging around this big messenger-like bag and so having my hands free when I’m with the kiddos will be a welcomed change.  Plus, I’ve been seeing leather backpacks popping up everywhere, so not only is this practical, but it may just be a bit stylish, as well! Although, most of the leather backpacks that I’ve seen are well over $100.00 and I wasn’t ready to make that kind of investment since I’m well aware that within a few days it will be full of goldfish crackers and milk splatters.
Also, the tank top I’m wearing in this picture is my FAVORITE tank top of all time. It’s so soft and comfortable and I love the way it fits.
